Gerard Bertrand Genora Vin Orange 2023 review - WineUncorked: Wine Reviews and Tips

tesco

This is an orange wine, so it’s going to taste a bit strange. It’s basically a white wine made with red wine techniques and has the grape skins infused into the mix while fermenting. This gives the wine its orange colour and taste rather like sherry – that is wine that’s a bit oxidised and so it gets some of the flavours of a bottle that’s been open a few days. Flavour is slightly floral and soapy with some orange rind added in. It’s better than many orange wines.
