Yalumba The Virgilius Viognier 2017 review - WineUncorked: Wine Reviews and Tips

With light-gold and green hints this is a pretty wine with aromas of melon, white bread and a daffodil floral edge. But the flavour is not particularly pleasant with an overriding impression of apple tannins. But all is not lost. The winemaker suggests treating this wine like a red and decanting first before drinking. A wine for true wine buffs who can buy wine for discussion rather than drinking.
