This is a blend of rosé wine and orange wine – orange wine being a type of white wine where the grape skins from the pressings are added to the juice when it ferments where normally they are left out, this makes the wine taste more unusual with some flavours more associated with red wines. So this is a crazy, crazy wine as it’s not quite a rosé, white or red. The flavours are great though – it does taste like an orange but with some apple too and with gooseberry dryness. There is also some greenness of celery. Very interesting. Expensive to buy on a whim but if you fancy a change then give it a go.
