Codorniu Zero Alcohol Free Sparkling review - WineUncorked: Wine Reviews and Tips

morrisons

Codorniu are Cava makers, the sparkling wine of Spain. This is their dealcoholized version with added carbon dioxide gas to add the sparkle. As most dealcoholized wines taste foul I wasn’t expecting much but this wine at least tastes of something -not wine but more like sparkling elderflower cordial. It’s rather too sweet in flavour to be a glugger but at least there is no aftertaste. But it would be cheaper to buy elderflower cordial and tonic water.
