Deeply satisfying aromas of smoky black cherries, marzipan, violets and star anise are matched, in a lighter version, on the palate. This blend of the three flavourful grape varieties of Syrah, Grenache and Carignan produces a suprisingly light red wine - a complex one though. Worth the bottle price.
