This Spanish red blend of Carinena, Garnacha Tinta (Grenache) and Syrah is interesting enough to seek out despite the graphic label showing purgatory (hence the name). There is no suffering involved with the flavour, just a spicy dark chocolate and floral fruitiness that is smooth and sippable. Add in the light touches of raisin to the violets and blackcurrant flavours and the result is actually quite a light wine.
