New Zealand Pinot Noir is a bit of an acquired taste – you like it or spit it out. New Zealand’s cool growing climate leaves the red Pinot Noir with sharp, green sappy flavours – think chewing on a twig. There is some expected cherry flavour and liquorice hiding in the background. For fruitier tasting Pinot Noirs choose a French one.
