19 Crimes The Uprising Red 2020 review - WineUncorked: Wine Reviews and Tips

Part aged in rum barrels adds a smoky note to this red wine. And like other wines in the 19 Crimes range, it’s Australian and slightly sweet tasting. Flavours of rum and raisin ice cream with a raspberry ripple topping with a dose of smokiness that’s a bit like fabric sticking plasters. Treat like an after dinner Port and drink with desserts. If the sweetness gets to you then lessen it by adding in a dash of some other everyday red wine.
