Mateus rose review - WineUncorked: Wine Reviews and Tips

The colour is more of a light red than a rose but it is still attractive. Aromas of rose petals and strawberry are to be found but the flavour is disappointing - a little strawberry but that's all. Overall the taste is too sweet to balance what there is.
