At £13 this is an expensive way to drink French Sauvignon Blanc but it is tasty with flavours of creamy apple puree along with a touch of gooseberry and some damp elderflower. Not as astringent as New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, the French Loire version is slightly more restrained.
