The site is edited by Paula Goddard, who has run popular wine courses, made her own award-winning wine and has been writing about wine for more than a decade.
Paula trained as an engineer and worked in the research team at a food packaging manufacturer early in her career. "In 1995 I decided I’d rather be involved with the food inside the packaging and began teaching food and drink courses at adult education colleges," she says.
Her courses were so popular they were regularly over-subscribed. She also ran talks and tasting sessions for local businesses and social groups, including Women’s Institutes and Rotary Clubs, on wine and tea.
Meanwhile her home-made beer and country wine won theTunbridge Wells Wine CircleBrookside Novices’ Cup, Ladies Trophy, E&R Jubilee Bowl and Wells Trophy.
Paula has written on wine for the Women's Institute magazine and since 2008 has contributed the column Paula's Wines of the Week to Mature Times.
