So do they stand up to be the star of the show? In this case yes. This white grape, now grown in South Africa, makes a medium-sweet fruity wine that shows its German origins with pear and apple flavours with a pineapple and lime zest kick. Nice enough but a bit expensive for something that tastes like Hock.
