Asda Extra Special Low Alcohol Sparkling Sauvignon Blanc 2020 review - WineUncorked: Wine Reviews and Tips

asda

This was wine but has had the alcohol taken out (de-alcoholised) so that what remains is less than 0.5%. Then grape juice and carbon dioxide gas has been added to give the sparkle. What remains looks like fizzy wine but tastes uggh – pineapple and pear sweeties with some soluble aspirin added. The “fresh lemon, lime and gooseberry flavours” promised on the label failed to materialise. Lucky to get 1-star rating.
