Part of the new breed of rosés that are more of a light red in colour than the more fashionable delicate pink, and consequently have more flavour too. Made from the Malbec grape variety (which Argentina makes into rich and tasty reds – see Co-op Fairtrade Bonarda-Malbec £5.25 5-star rating) this rosé has red fruit flavours of fresh raspberry and then white wine flavours of apple, pear and creamy pineapple – bit of a hybrid. Worth a try.
