An Australian Chardonnay from the cooler region of Western Australia that’s doing its best to be like a French version from Burgundy at a similar price. At £15 a bottle this is expensive purchase and it may come as a surprise to find Aussie wines selling at this price when we’ve got used to finding them in the cheap and cheerful section. But it’s a nice example with flavours of zingy lime, creamy butter and a hazelnut background. Tasty but expensive.
