Asda Extra Special Barossa Valley Chardonnay 2021 review - WineUncorked: Wine Reviews and Tips

asda

This is almost worth a 4-star review but the fact that Asda have a similar wine in the Extra Special range priced at just £5.50 (their Extra Special South African Western Cape Chardonnay) with a 4 and 5-star (depending on the vintage) means Asda are shooting themselves in the foot somewhat with the £8 price. It’s still a nice wine with fresh and inviting fruity flavours of lemon and lime with apple and melon coming through. Worth a buy if you want an Australian Chardonnay.
