This mix of wine from the Zinfandel variety with the alcohol removed plus grape juice is mixed with flavourings and preservatives to produce what is basically a soft drink. It tastes like raspberry ripple ice cream with a touch of aspirin tartness. It does have a pleasant aroma though of mandarin oranges and sugar syrup. Rather than buying this ‘wine’ why not blend your own lemonade and raspberry ripple ice cream topping for a similar result. Cheaper too.
