Animus Douro is one of Aldi’s staple wines and is consistently good value. It has, unsurprisingly, gone up in price over the years (it was £4.99 in 2020) but is still under £7. A good fruity red with flavours of cherries, blackberries with a slight raisin and liquorice edge. Not overly sweet.
