A blush wine is the newer category of rosé that’s made with a grape type that is normally considered a white grape and makes white wine (this one is Pinot Grigio) but the grape actually has a pinkish hue that can be used to tint the wine if the winemaker chooses – and it adds a light fruity flavour that can taste refreshing. This Tesco Finest version has flavours of raspberry and bubblegum sweetness with some apple and almond. Nice enough. Bit over-priced.
