Morrisons The Best Block Series 001 Shiraz 2022 review - WineUncorked: Wine Reviews and Tips

morrisons

It’s new, it’s a very good wine but it’s £20 a bottle. Yes it tastes great but why the cost for what the label describes as a “typical Aussie Shiraz”. If it was £12 then it would go up a star rating to 4* (very good wine) but 3* is all it can have (good wine but overpriced). Intense aromas and flavours of smoky plum, blackberry, liquorice, toffee, dried fruit, boot polish and violets – so a lot going on! An expensive treat.
