First Cape Special Cuvee Merlot 2023 review

Blackcurrant and more blackcurrant in this South African Merlot. Although the label tells us it’s a ‘Special Cuvee’, there really isn’t anything that superior about it. Yes it’s a nice fruity wine that’s quaffable but it really needs to be priced at £6 a bottle for better value. Available Waitrose, Tesco and Morrisons.
