A nice wine that tastes enjoyably fruity even after just 5 minutes of opening and decanting into a jug. Flavours of chocolate, raspberry and blackberry, then rounded off with a toffee smoothness. There is a bit of drying tannin to balance everything out. A tasty wine but the price of over £20 a bottle is rather off-putting particularly when you consider you can pop into Tesco and get an equally tasty Zinfandel for just £9.75 – check out Amandla South African Zinfandel 3-star review.
