Not sure why you’d buy this when there are so many other better sparkling wines out there – even English ones. And at £25 a bottle I’m wanting a bottle that lures me in plus great flavours. Well it’s a damp squid. First the bottle label looks so drab (a grey image of vines going into the distance looks very cheap and nasty) and then this light, fruit fizz has some heavy-handed new oak additions that don’t hide the oxidised apple taste. Yes you can drink it, but life is too short.
