Fresh, sharp flavours of just-picked blackberry coming through on this Aussie Shiraz-Cabernet Sauvignon red blend from Virgin Wines. There’s also some fruity damson and mouth-drying sloe on the taste plus black treacle. This isn’t a sweet wine despite all the flavours and the 14% alcohol. A good wine that retains its flavours each vintage.
