Tesco Finest Tingleup Riesling 2025 review - WineUncorked: Wine Reviews and Tips

tesco

This wine tastes just too sharp to be enjoyable. The bottle label description tells us to expect lime and citrus flavours, but when it tastes like pure lime juice mixed with apple then it is just too much for the taste buds. There’s also the bottle stink to get over on first opening. That cardboardy aroma and flavour that tells you that there is too much sulphite dissolved in the wine. It did go eventually, but the bottle had to be open a day for this to dissipate. Customer reviews on the Tesco grocery website seem to share my experiences.
