A good value Aussie Shiraz that costs just under six quid and can be found at the Co-op. Aromas and flavours of cherry and blackberry with a slightly smoky edge that are rounded off with a background smoothness of vanilla and a slight sharpness on top. A medium-bodied style that doesn’t pour out as thickly as some Aussie Shiraz so expect it to feel lighter and not as sweet as those you’ve had before.
