Tesco Por Do Sol Rosé review - WineUncorked: Wine Reviews and Tips

tesco

It looks like Mateus Rosé but it isn’t – it’s the Tesco version of the simple Portuguese rosé that’s still going strong with its recognisable bottle. This version tastes slightly different in that this light red wine has flavours of gooseberry – making more akin to a German Hock. There’s a sweetness of melon and a little light strawberry too along with a slight tingle on the tongue known as ‘spritz’. Simple flavours but enjoyable.
