Asda Extra Special Sancerre 2021 review - WineUncorked: Wine Reviews and Tips

asda

A nice wine but I’m struggling with the price increase – this has increased £5 in 5 months (£13.50 in October ’23 and now £18 in April ’24). Yes prices have increased but this is still a huge jump for what is an okay wine with a posh name tag. It’s a Sauvignon Blanc from the French Loire Valley so expect less gooseberry flavour and more lemon, honey and glue plus the aroma of a packet of crisps. Okay if you like that sort of thing.
