Tesco Finest English Sparkling Brut review - WineUncorked: Wine Reviews and Tips

tesco

Tesco currently stocks 22 English sparkling wines – two are Tesco branded Finest, a white and a rosé both at £22. Made by Kent winemakers Balfour for Tesco from the classic trio grape varieties used to make French Champagne: Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir. And the result is similar in taste – apple and burnt toast flavours that’s a bit heavy on the burnt bit. There are better English sparkling wines out there like Asda’s Asquith Gardens which gets a solid 5-star review.
