At full price this average Californian oaky Chardonnay is way over-priced. But use Majestic’s Mix Six system of buying at least six bottles of any wine at one go and the individual bottle price plummets to £14. Now that’s still a bit expensive but if you want a well-known branded wine with reliable flavours then that’s the price. Flavours are mainly oaky and buttery with a background of green sappy/grassiness. All a rather disjointed taste with separate flavours coming one after the other.
