Fab wine. Great value and tastes amazing. I liked it so much I bought the company... ah no wrong advert. But I did like it so much I used the current Buy 6 Save 25% deal with an Asda home delivery to get each bottle at £5.62 – and the delivery driver brought all those bottles into the house for me. Result. You’ll need to open and decant this wine into a jug at least an hour before slurping to allow the flavours to stabilise. Or you could just undo the screwcap and give your tastebuds a ride as the flavour changes every 5 minutes. On immediate opening the wine tastes like freshly picked blackcurrants that are so sharp they make your mouth pucker. A few minutes later the astringency has died down and there’s added chocolate chip flavours. At about twenty minutes in the wine flattens out it just another red wine, but then give it another 5 minutes and there is added raisin flavours. The end result is almost like a light Port – flavours of blackcurrant, cherry, toffee, coffee and raisins. Bargain at the full price of £7.50 and even better with 25% off. Get down to Asda folks!
