Blush wines are rosés made with 'white' grapes. Although Pinot Grigio is more often seen as a refreshingly light Italian white, the grapes are in fact a pale pink in colour and so when the grape skins are added to the fermenting brew they add a tinge - in this case a dark pink colour. Aromas of pear and hazelnut tart with a added bubblegum sweetness are matched on the flavour with a dash of redcurrant. A flavourful Pinot Grigio.
