This Italian rosé is more of a light red in both colour and flavour than the more fashionable ultra-pale rosés that taste of very little. Flaminio is made with the Negromaro grape variety which turns into creamy cherry and strawberry flavours with added celery dryness. There’s a slight hint of cardboard on the flavour too so it doesn’t get a top star-rating.
