Jam Shed Shiraz review - WineUncorked: Wine Reviews and Tips

waitrose

The clue to this wine’s taste is in the brand name – Jam. So expect sweet jammy, fruity flavours - which is what many taste buds want. The other good news is that that this wine is available almost everywhere – all supermarkets and many garage forecourt shops too. Because of this there is often a price war and the wine is often discounted down a pound or two. Currently the cheapest offer is at Waitrose (£6.99) followed by Asda with the 187ml (quarter bottle) sizes at £2.50 each or 4 for 3 offer, which comes in at £7.50 for 4x187ml, which is equivalent to one standard sized bottle. The most expensive is currently Majestic at £8.99. The wine tastes of sweet blackberry and strawberry jam mix with a bit of liquorice stirred in.
