Fruity and slightly buttery, this is a modern Chardonnay made in Chile that has none of the overly buttery flavours of USA Chardonnay from the 1990s. The background butteriness comes through on the aroma and flavour along with some baked pineapple and balancing astringent celery and sharp apple. Nicely balanced but not that exciting a flavour.
