This French Malbec is an easy drinking and smooth red wine with cherry, cinnamon and dark chocolate flavours. The flavour also has a sharper blackcurrant edge with some dark roast coffee bitterness. And watch out for the tartrate crystal deposit that might be there in the last mouthful of the last glass. These harmless almost black coloured crystals form from the tartaric acid which is in the wine during wine making and appear if the wine has become cold. Nothing to worry about but you don’t want to swig them down as they taste and feel horrid. Nice wine though.
