Why this Hungarian rosé made with the Shiraz grape variety has an exquisitely designed glass bottle with the base indent (known as the punt) in the form of a spider’s web is unknown. The wine inside is rather more ordinary with light cherry, apple and almond flavours but the colour may fool you with its light red hue which is the opposite of the palest of pale fashionable French Languedoc rosés. Worth a go just for the bottle design and label tongue twister.
