Co-op Ruby Port review - WineUncorked: Wine Reviews and Tips

co op

The youngest and cheapest of the many styles of Ports, Ruby tastes of sweet blackberry that’s been slightly overcooked. A good match to end of meal cheeses. But consume this wine within a few days as the flavours oxidise very easily and disappear into nothingness. Watch out for the alcohol levels at a high of 20% which is due to being fortified with brandy type spirit as all Ports are.
