A nice Chardonnay from the cooler Western side of Australia near the Margaret River makes for an apple and walnut tasting wine. And yes it’s definitely a walnut note in the flavour with its slightly drying sharpness, which matches great with the apple. Match to posh nosh or your everyday snacks of things on toast.
