Monticelli Piceno Rosso 2019 review - WineUncorked: Wine Reviews and Tips

co op

Italian reds made with the Piceno label have become slightly fashionable and many sell for around £11 a bottle. So this version from the Co-op at just £8 is great value and worth a try if you’re looking for a light and tasty red with some sweetness. Flavours of spicy plum and toasted tea cake with a hint of tobacco and leather. A good alternative to an expensive Bordeaux red.
