The selling point of this sparkling wine made in England is that it’s made with the Charmat method (also known as the Tank Method). This is the same as the way that Italian Prosecco is made rather than as in Champagne where the bubbles are added in each bottle. But while Prosecco sells for around £7 a bottle, Boco Brut is nearly four times the price at between £26-£32 - but is only made in limited quantities at this stage unlike Prosecco which is made in bulk. Boco is a lightly fizzy drink with flavours of apple and almond. An interesting wine for its details but not the taste.
