
The expected buttery and over-the-top fruity flavours of this South African Chardonnay are tempered by it being made with ‘wild ferment’ yeast. This adds a lemon and lime freshness to the taste on top of the buttery peach, melon and pear. And oh yes there’s some coconut taste and woodiness going on. Lots of flavour but it’s still £12 at Tesco (£9 to Clubcard holders) and that’s a lot of dough.
