Tastes similar to a Spanish Rioja with flavours of creamy black cherry yoghurt with some spiciness. Aromas are more of what you’d expect from a Carmenere with concentrated blackcurrant and leather. A nice wine but you may be expecting more deep flavours if you’ve tried other Carmenere wines.
