Pica Pica Viognier 250ml can review - WineUncorked: Wine Reviews and Tips

asda

French white Viognier in a can. Very modern and very portable. Unfortunately the wine inside is a little flat due to a lack of balancing crispness on the flavour. Yes it is recognisable as a fruity and aromatic Viognier with nectarine and almond flavours but the background tang of a gluey taste makes it less than great. Asda’s Extra Special Viognier in a traditional 75cl glass bottle at £7.74 is the same equivalent price as the Pica Pica can and is a better buy. Unfortunately there isn’t an alternative Viognier in a smaller volume, either in a can or mini bottle, at Asda at present.
