A collaboration between English Heritage (who manages over 400 old buildings and ancient sites across England which you can visit as a member or pay an entrance fee), online wine seller Laithwaites and English vineyard Ridgeview Estate. Two sparkling wines in the range – a white and a rosé. The white is an excellent tasting and quality wine and worth the bottle price. Aromas of apple and pear drops, with a similar taste with additional apricot and toasted bread. A nice wine. Would have been useful to be able to buy in half bottles, or even cans, for a picnic when you visit an English Heritage site. And why isn’t it on sale in the English Heritage shops which are at many of their sites? You can buy their meads and fruit wines, plus other useful tat, but not this wine. Missing a trick fellas.
