A traditionally made sparkling wine that has had the bubbles created in the bottle rather than in a stainless steel tank. Which sounds great but is no guarantee of wonderful flavours. Which is the case here - the initial attractive aromas of fresh white bread rolls and lemon give way to a rather dull set of lemony appley woodiness.
