Morrisons The Best Red Burgundy 2018 review - WineUncorked: Wine Reviews and Tips

morrisons

Burgundy in France makes wines from the Pinot Noir grape which can range in taste from the thin and weedy to floral and powerful. This 2018 vintage is the floral and powerful end of the spectrum. Aromas of tar and raspberry and made complex with added sloe and a hint of liquorice. The flavour is distinctly Parma violets. Which is a love or hate taste in wine. But it's definitely Burgundy.
