Purato Grillo Spumante Brut review - WineUncorked: Wine Reviews and Tips

ocado

There’s a lot of fizz produced for a spumante – which is the classification for lightly sparkling wines with slightly more fizz than a frizzante. The aroma from the Grillo grapes is similar to champagne with nutty white bread plus apple and lemon fruitiness. But the flavour has some smokiness mixed in with its acidity. Interesting but expensive.
