Recognisable it its dumpy oval bottle, this rose may look like Mateus but is the Tesco own-brand version. And what a pleasant surprise it is. This dark-coloured rose has complex aromas of strawberry and gooseberry. The wine itself has a very slight sparkle (known as 'spritz' and expected in this wine) and a very slight sweetness.
