This non-alcoholic fizzy drink is made from cold tea mixed with grape juice and carbon dioxide gas bubbled through. The price per bottle of over £15 is eyebrow raising and can only be justified with its use of speciality teas – this one is Indian Darjeeling but there’s also Chinese Jasmine and Japanese Hojicha. The Darjeeling tastes of the tea, so a smoky taste with a buttery aftertaste. Not a great flavour and really needs more sweetness for balance. If you want to get an idea of the flavour to expect then why not have a go yourself? Mix some left-over tea with lemonade and grape juice and then refrigerate.
